Banksia baueri Possum Banksia or Woolly Banksia |
The flower color is gray to orange/brown, 25 x 15 cm (10" x 6"). Banksia baueri forms a small, rounded shrub about 3' high. The large, woolly flower spikes appear in late winter and spring and the toothed leaves are up to 130 mm long. Although this is an West Australia species, it does tolerate humidity and light frost. Seed germinates rather easy as cuttings are difficult to strike.
