Banksia dryandroides Dryandra-leaved Banksia |
The flower color is a yellow, 3 cm (1") globular spike. The mature size is a 3' rounded to spreading shrub. This is a particularly nice foliage plant from W. Australia with narrow, saw-tooth leaves. Western Australia Banksia species generally do not like humidity, however this one seems to more humidity tolerant. Best growth is attained using a well-drained, sandy, acid soil.
DO NOT FERTILIZE WITH PHOSPHOROUS FERTILIZERS!
