The flower spikes on this species is rather small, only 3 cm (1") spikes with protruding yellow stamens. Mature size is 3' x 4' shrub. Small, 1/4" linear leaves, blooms in autumn. This is an West Australia species rarely cultivated but it does have a rather unique flower and is probably worth a try. Limestone underlayment is suggested.
DO NOT FERTILIZE WITH PHOSPHOROUS FERTILIZERS!
