The flower color is red, mature species size is 5-20' shrub or tree. It is commonly found in swampy areas, will adapt to better drained soils. This is an West Australia species that is frost resistant but it is unusual in that it is drought tender. It prefers light, wet soils in a sunny position. 4" long, narrow leaves. Easily propagated by seed.
