Most Banksia species prefer well drained soil, however, this one actually prefers a damp, swampy location in sun. The flower color is blue-green when in bud, yellow-green when open and 17 cm (6-1/2"). The mature size is a 6' shrub. Leaves are 12" long x 3" wide. New South Wales.
