Description: Erect shrub to 6' with very dark red brushes 15 cm long x 7 cm diameter. The leaves are narrow-oblong to 12 cm. This species is generally found in swamps of southwest Australia.
Culture: Full sun. Sand, loam, clay, bog or damp soils, will adapt to drier conditions. Acid, neutral or alkaline. Moderately frost hardy.
Uses: Ornamental, hedge, screening, windbreaks.
