This larger Callistemon species grows to about 16' x 16' and has narrow, elliptical, sharply pointed leaves to 8 cm. The flower spikes are about 10 cm long or less by 5 cm in diameter. The red spikes are tipped with yellow anthers. A hardy species for most soils and prefers sun. Prune after flowering. Attractive container plant. +23 degrees F.
