Eucalyptus globulus var compacta Dwarf Tasmanian Blue Gum |
Description: Smaller version of E. globulus ssp globulus - reported to be only 9-30'. It prefers full to part sun or dappled shade. It will withstand moderate frost. The juvenile leaf is silvery blue and circular, the mature leaf a deep green sickle shape.
Soil: Full to part sun, loam or clay, damp, well drained, acid, neutral pH.
Uses: Honey production, essential oils, perfumed foliage, wind resistant, frost tolerant.
