Description: A small mallee 12-24' x 9-18' from Wiluna West Australia. The bark is usually rough over most of the stems, light gray-brown in color. Leaves are a dull, blue-green color. The outstanding features of this species is the flower buds being strongly beaked and ribbed, red or yellow. The large creamy white flowers are attractive as well. Generally found in arid, sandy desert areas.
Culture: Sun, sandy loam type soil, pH 5.5 to 6.4, annual rainfall minimum of 8 inches per year.
Uses: Ornamental, honey production.
