Description: The bark on this species is rough, fibrous, stringy and dark brown in color. Juvenile leaves are ovate with fine hairs. Adult leaves are lanceolate and slightly glossy green. The buds are found in the leaf axils in 7s or more and diamond shaped. It is a very common species found in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. Food source for Koala browse.
