Description: This species is widely distributed over Northern Australia, commonly found along rivers and heavy soils of flood plains. The bark varies, it can be smooth and white or gray to rough, fibrous, gray to gray-black. Juvenile leaves are alternate, lanceolate, green to gray-green in color. Adult leaves are lanceolate and dull green or gray-green in color. The second most widely distributed species in Australia, Eucalyptus camaldulensis is # 1.
