Description: This species is considered as an endangered species, it is found native only in a small, restricted area of SE Tasmania near Hobart. Juvenile leaves are opposite, almost rounded with a scalloped edge, glaucous and slightly discolorous. Adult leaves are alternate and shaped like a lance, gray-green to glaucous. It has a tree type habit, thin gray-green to glaucous leaves, buds and fruits with smooth, light brown bark. Good as an ornamental or as a windbreak.
