Description: This species has smooth bark, gray-brown to yellow-brown in color. The juvenile leaves are elliptic to ovate, light green in color. Adult leaves are shaped like a lance. The attractive features of this species are the orange flower buds and small size.  It is a quick growing species suitable for windbreaks.  West Australia, South Australia, Victoria.  Suitable for moderate  saline sites (ECe 400-800 mS/m. Generally found in coastal and sub-coastal areas

Uses: Ornamental plantings, firewood, honey production, coastal area plantings.
