Description: This species has not been widely cultivated, even in Australia. It features smooth bark, a tree or mallee habit, thick, dark green leaves, hemispherical fruits and white flowers. It is very quick growing in sandy, acid type soils. It is suitable for windbreaks or low shade areas and is found native on Kangaroo Island, from Mt. Taylor to Flinders Chase Conservation Park, South Australia.
