Description: This species is generally found along the South Coast or Southern Tablelands of New South Wales. It is a restricted and uncommon species, usually found growing in low shrub heath on sandy, swampy soils. It has a mallee (multiple stems) habit and grows to about 15' (5m). The bark is generally smooth, gray or gray-brown in color and shedding type. Juvenile leaves are jointed (connate). Some frost tolerance noted.
