	Xanthonema ssp xanthonema - Yellow-flowered Mallee: Small species 6-12' with white or pale yellow flowers. 16" rainfall per year, sandy loam soil. West Australia. Zone 9. Good for moderate saline sites.

	Yalatensis - Yalata mallee: Small mallee to 18' with gray-green leaves. Gray to orange-gray branches, a South Australia species. Good for cut flower production. Zone 9.
	Youmanii - Youman's Stringybark: Gray to red brown bark. Reported to be frost and snow tolerant, to 68' with cream flowers. New South Wales, Queensland. Zone 9, perhaps colder….
	Youngiana - Yaldarlba: Large red, pink or bright yellow flowers. South Australia, Great Victoria Sesert. Small tree. Zone 9. 8" annual rainfall.

	*Zopherophloia* - Blackbutt mallee: Found near Dongara, WA. The only "Z" eucalyptus so I had to have it! 12-18' x 12-18', 16" annual rainfall, sand or sandy loam soils, found on lime (alkaline) soils. West Australia. Zone 9. 16" annual rainfall.
